When they wanted to update their website, they knew that the site had to keep pace with technology and provide the same level of service customers had come to expect from them. Owner Lenny Dolin contacted Whiteboard Strategy to request our help in converting his previous site which had several thousand pages. He knew it would be a daunting task which he lacked the staff and skills to achieve.
Our team worked to develop the new ArtShopNC.com website utilizing the latest technology to deliver a site with browser based content management, easy to use image gallery managers, simple shopping cart, blog and newsletter integration all wrapped in an elegant design. Our designer worked with their staff to capture the look and feel they wanted. Our developer engineered and customized various components to provide the functionality. Our content manager worked tirelessly to sort, organize, and reformat existing content from thousands of pages into the new site.
In addition to building the site, Whiteboard provided training as well as support and consulting services to help The Art Shop maximize their success with their new website including working with third party service providers such as marketing, advertising and hosting companies. SherwoodForestMotel.com is a family owned motel in the heart of the redwood forests of northern California. The company's website was very outdated and the owners were unable to edit the content. We worked with their existing photos as well as a photographer to produce new content for the website. Our new website design showcases the natural beauty of both the motel and the surrounding area.
The new website allows the motel staff to login and manage the content using a web browser. New photo gallery images are automatically resized and the gallery component allows them to set custom cropping for each photo they upload. Looking toward the future, we built in a Twitter feed displays for them to use durring special events.
Anthony Abreu
Anthony Abre is an artist known arround the world for his paintings of natural and western sceens. From animal protraiats to beautiful landscapes, his artwork captures the essence of his subjects, drawing them in to the sceen. When he decided to redsign and expand his website to include on-line sale of his artwork from his gallery, he contacted Whiteboard Strategy.

YouCanBeACook.com and the You Can Be A Cook Blog helps their members to overcome many of the problems surrounding meal planing, cooking and shopping by providing read made meal plans, weekly shopping lists and easy to follow recipes. With a wide variety of plans to choose from, members can find a meal plan that fits their family size as well as their dietary needs. The site is built on the Wordpress CMS and uses custom developed membership and content delivery components.
When the owners first contacted us, the site was nearly complete, but they were having problems getting the previous developer to finish the job. We took over the development to finish the site and fixed the bugs. During the process we discovered many problems with the way the site was both built and transferred to the new hosting platform by the previous developer. After fixing the bugs, updating the hosting, integrating the clients credit card processing API scripts and finishing the overall development, we created a separate blog site.
The goals of the blog site were to provide all of the popular blogging features of Wordpress with a site design that closely resembled the main site, but with enough differences to make it clear that they were two different sites. We kept the same color scheme and main background graphic, updated the logo and page layouts to be more blog friendly. We added a photo slide-show, setup a variety of blogging topic categories, procured some great food photography and added the client's first few blog posts.

When Millennium needed a company intranet to facilitate communication and centralize their staff resources, Jeffrey Nelson, CIO of Millennium Physician Group, turned to Whiteboard Strategy. Rockpoint Logistics provides order fulfillment, kitting and assembly, inventory management, returns management, digital printing, transportation management and other logistical services in a business-t-business model. Their company was undergoing a rebranding when Cathie Van Wert, Creative Director of DoubleTake Design, contacted Whiteboard Strategy to assist them with converting their website design for use with the Hubspot CMS. Whiteboard Strategy is know for developing multiple Hubspot extensions for the Joomla CMS. Robert Holzler worked with DoubleTake Design and Rockpoint Logistics to create their new website based on the graphic design files and content provided.

Lees Okeetees
Lee Abbot is a world renowned reptile breeder with the singular distinction of being the only person in the world to have a color phase of elaphe guttata guttata, the Abbot Okeetee, named after him. When he needed a website, Lee turned to Whiteboard Strategy to develop a site that would appeal to his customers while providing him a way to manage his own content. Tired of being held hostage by webmasters and hosting companies, Lee wanted a site that he had full control over without the need to learn HTML, CSS and other web languages.

ZombieMenace.com
Originally developed as a proof-of-concept site, ZombieMenace.com took on a life of it's own when Sony Pictures asked us to help promote their new movie Zombieland. Since then the site has grown to provide zombie themed web based games, videos, interactive forum, events calender and online store. An avid zombie fan, Robert Holzler, devoted countless hours to developing the site and continues to "play" with it today.
The Price Spider
Originally developed as Amazon-Bargains.com, ThePriceSpider.com is an affiliate marketing site intended to develop an alternate, zero-maintenance revenue stream. Utilizing automated scripts to generate new content for the site, Whiteboard Strategy was able to build a single page on website while the API scripts built into the site generated over 300K sub-pages. The site currently generates a steady income by converting search engine traffic into product sales at sites like Amazon.com and BN.com.
The success of this site led us to convert the ZombieMenace.com store over to use the same Amazon and BN affiliate marketing API scripts. Between the two sites, we generate enough income to pay for all our hosting and provide gift cards to friends and family at the holidays!
